Assembly of the 1st MF19 vehicle, the future new-generation metro for the Île-de-France network

A few months ago, the production of the MF19, the future new-generation rail metro for the Île-de-France network, began at Alstom's Crespin and Valenciennes sites in the Hauts-de-France region.
Relive the adventure of assembling the 1st vehicle in this video.
A total of 2,300 Alstom employees at 8 of our sites in France are working on the MF19 project.

About the MF19
The MF19, financed by Île-de-France Mobilités and operated by RATP, will replace 3 generations of rolling stock (MF88, MF67, MF77) and will equip 8 Paris metro lines (lines 3, 3bis, 7, 7bis, 8, 10, 12, 13).
It offers a high level of adaptability and modularity to suit the needs, constraints and architecture of several lines. From the outset, all the configurations envisaged were developed (automatic driving cab, driver's cab, 4 or 5 cars, long or short). The trainsets are also designed to be configurable according to capacity requirements, and the configurations and layouts have been designed to be reversible.
Modern, comfortable, reliable and responsible, the MF19 puts technology at the service of passenger comfort and safety.
